AUSTIN, TEXAS, MAY 10, 2016 – The International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR) presented the Exemplary Service Award to Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home in Covington, Georgia at OGR’s 2016 Annual Conference and Supplier Showcase in Las Vegas, NV on April 28. OGR’s Exemplary Service Award recognizes member firms for the outstanding customer service they provided to families during their time of loss.

Exemplary Service awards recognize professional excellence as demonstrated through comments from client families served who respond to surveys distributed by OGR’s Family Contact Program. One family Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home helped shared the following:

“My father’s body was brought in while we were in the course of planning, and I asked if I could see him and say my final goodbye since I did not have a chance to be at the hospital when he died because I was making final arrangements. Not only did Caldwell & Cowan graciously agree, but they placed him in a beautiful room with flowers, candles, and soft music. I will never forget the peace and serenity of the room, its warmth, and the trouble they went through for my request. It meant the world to me.”
