Thomas L. Hemmerle is the owner of Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville, KY. He earned a degree in Mortuary Science from Arapahoe Community College and has been a licensed funeral director since 1996 and a licensed embalmer since 2006. Hemmerle is a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus, the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. [TOP] Paul A. Hummel, III has been working with his father since 1987. He is a graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary's High School and the University of Akron. Paul is a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church. He is involved with Rotary Club of Akron, Boy Scouts of America, Mobile Meals and Bluecoats Incorporated. Paul lives in Akron with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Caroline and Maggie. [TOP] Kim Hunter graduated from Humber College Funeral Service Program Toronto in 1976. He purchased the J. Scott Early Funeral Home in Milton, Ontario while continuing to serve as Vice President at Humphrey Funeral Home in Toronto for many years before purchasing both Humphrey Funeral Home and A Basic Service in 2018. He is a long serving Funeral Director who has been licensed since 1976 and continues my his passion for funeral service and our profession. Kim is an an active member of the Royal Canadian Military Institute, Rotary Club of Toronto, Toronto Commandery Hospice and the Thunderers of Toronto. [TOP] Raffy Jose is President and CEO, Arlington Memorial Chapels, Inc.—Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. His education includes a B.S. in Business Management from the Ateneo De Manila University; post graduate course: Managing Family Corporations at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM); and Celebrant Training at the In-Sight Institute. He served as Rotary Club Centennial President (2005), was the first Celebrant in Asia and the Philippines after receiving training from the In-Sight Institute (2002), and recipient of 6 Pursuit of Excellence Awards and 2 Best of the Best Awards (2011 and 2017) from NFDA during his leadership. Raffy enjoys traveling, cooking, taking care of and playing with his grandchildren. Raffy is married to Marichi and has four adult children: Paolo, Isabella, Anton and Bettina. [TOP] Christopher B. Miller is the owner of Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona, California and a licensed embalmer and funeral director. He earned a Mortuary Science degree from Cypress College, his Crematory Manager License and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from California Polytechnic University of Pomona. He received the Melvin Hilgenfeld Award from Cypress College, the highest honor from the program. Chris previously served on OGR’s Board of Directors from 2010-2012, serves as Parks Commission for the City of Corona Parks and Recreational Services Commission, is the current Board Chairman of the Corona Regional Medical Governing Board of Directors, is on the Corona Chamber of Commerce board, is a past board member of The Unforgettables Foundation, an organization that helps families with the loss of their children, and is a member of Circle City Rotary Club, the California Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the International Cremation, Cemetery and Funeral Association. Chris has two children, Reagan and Colin. [TOP] Mary F. Steele, CFSP, CPC, CCO is co-owner of Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, KY. She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1991 and is both a graduate of nursing school and of Mid-America College of Funeral Service. Mary served as the first woman president of the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky. Mrs. Steele brings a lot of experience to the Board having received numerous honors and awards including the NFDA Initiative Award (2007) and the OGR Community Service Award (2008). She also serves on the Advisory Board for Mid America College of Funeral Service, formerly served on the Southeast Community and Technical College Funeral School’s Advisory Board, and is a Certified Preplanning Consultant and Certified Crematory Operator. [TOP] Evan J. Strong is the founder and owner of Evan J. Strong Funeral Services in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Evan is a graduate of McMaster University and Humber College where he received his funeral service education. He is a member of Rotary International and the Knights of Columbus. Evan and his firm are active within the Calgary community in many charities and non-profit organizations. [TOP] Jamie L. Wieting is co-owner of Wieting Family Funeral Home in Chilton, Wisconsin and a licensed funeral director. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Science, Funeral Services and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Jamie service as President of the Board of Education and is currently the Vice President of the Chilton Chamber of Commerce Board. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association and the current Secretary/Treasurer of Fox River Valley Funeral Directors Association. Jamie is married to Daniel Wieting and has four children, Alydia, Eliot, Iyla and Oriya. [TOP] Peter A. Urban Jr. is a lifetime resident of Ambler and a third generation licensed funeral director in the Urban family. He has been working at Anton B. Urban Funeral Home since 2001. |
