Session 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. The Changing Consumer: Marketing Trends, Opportunities and Threats with Jennifer Bailey
Buyer behavior has shifted; consumers have changed their patterns toward their purchase decisions and funeral directors have an opportunity to respond. What is value-based education and what does that mean for marketing? What is the buyers' journey and how does it affect cremation and preneed trends? In this 60-minute presentation, we will help funeral directors understand the needs of their client families to be nurtured, valued and given resources. The class will help them to shift their thinking about the role marketing plays in their companies and how they can master digital trends by simply offering knowledge and information. Participants will feel confident in making decisions about their digital marketing activities and will have the knowledge they need to prioritize their marketing to get the most impact for both their funeral home and their client families. Topics will include information about search trends, digital ads, email marketing, social media trends and much more.
