2018 On Demand Learning OGR

OGR offers courses that you can take at your own pace and on your own schedule. On-demand learning allows you to choose courses of interest to you, sign up, and start taking them at your leisure.

The following courses are now available:

How does on-demand learning work? 

  • You'll choose the course you’d like on OGR’s website, pay the nominal fee ($40/member and $55/nonmember), and then start taking the course at your own pace and on your own schedule. Please note, after registering, you will receive a separate email with login instructions. These emails are only be sent during regular business hours, M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT, so if you sign up at noon on a Saturday, you won't be able to start the course until Monday.
  • Courses will include short quizzes, videos, articles, and polls to help you work through the material.
  • Once you've completed your courses successfully, OGR will issue you a certificate of participation.*

*Once you've registered, you'll receive a separate email to start the course during regular business hours.

*Note: On-demand courses are typically approved for 1 CE hour by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (APFSP) and most state licensing boards (PA and VA excluded). It is the individual participant's responsibility before registering for any OGR course or event to verify that it is currently approved for CE in the state or states in which the individual is licensed.

Simply visit the Webinar Podcasts page (login required) to start watching. Live webinars will be offered periodically throughout the year, but the majority of distance learning will take place through on-demand courses.
