OGR’S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION TO HOST FUNERAL FEUD EVENT
IN PHILADELPHIA TO BENEFIT ITS FOUNDATION
August 1, 2016– Austin, TX – The Order of the Golden Rule Foundation, the charitable arm of The International Oder of the Golden Rule is throwing a party in Philadelphia, Monday evening October 24, 2016 after NFDA’s International Convention & Expo’s opening day. This all new and exciting fundraiser will directly support OGR’s Awards of Excellence Scholarship Program and enable the association to expand its charitable activities.
The inaugural event will be held at the Lowes Philadelphia Hotel on the 33rd floor and will feature a twist on the popular game show Family Feud. Teams will go head to head in an OGR version called “Funeral Feud”. Everyone is invited to mix and mingle with colleagues and see what “top answers are on the board!” Tickets to this unique event can be secured with a donation to the OGR Foundation. In addition to playing “The Feud”, there will be delicious passed hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
This event is being held in conjunction with the OGR Board of Director’s meeting prior to NFDA’s expo. All OGR members are invited to donate to this worthy cause and spend an evening with friends and colleagues. A donation of $100 or more gets you entry to the Funeral Feud Party to Benefit OGR’s Charitable Foundation, a chance to play the Feud and tickets to Sunday’s NFDA Welcome Party as well as access to the NFDA Expo on Monday. Prior to the evening’s festivities, we invite NFDA attendees to stop by and visit OGR staff and board at booth #4460 on the show floor.
