The OGR Future Leaders Forum is where growing professionals, second-career staff, and emerging leaders from independently owned funeral homes gather to cultivate their potential within the funeral home profession. Through hands-on workshops, expert-led sessions, and real-world insights, attendees gain both the hard and soft skills essential for owning and operating a successful funeral home.

This event provides a unique platform for attendees to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and collaborate on approaches to advance their careers while contributing to the growth and evolution of their respective funeral homes. With a focus on innovation thinking, participants will be encouraged to think ahead, envisioning ways to better serve the diverse needs of today's families while anticipating the evolving demands of tomorrow.

Pricing

Registration cost for the 2026 Future Leaders Forum is $199 for OGR members, which includes admission to all event sessions and lunch on Monday. Some meals and activities come at additional cost. Non-OGR members can register for the 2026 Future Leaders Forum for $249. 

Scholarships

Attendees representing OGR member funeral homes are eligible for scholarships. The OGR Foundation is providing scholarships of $350 to the first 15 OGR member funeral homes that enroll a staff member in the Future Leaders Forum. Scholarships can offset registration, travel, food, or other costs associated with attending the Forum. Scholarships will be awarded at the conclusion of the event.
