As funeral service professionals, we understand the dedication and empathy it takes to serve families in their most difficult times. At the International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR), we believe in supporting and empowering the next generation of leaders who will carry this mission forward. That's why we're thrilled to announce that the OGR Foundation Awards of Excellence scholarship program is now open for applications through December 31!

This year, the OGR Foundation will be awarding $10,000 to six applicants. The top recipient will also receive an all expense paid trip to OGR's 2025 PROGRESS conference being held in Riverside, California, this May. 

The Foundation has proudly awarded scholarships for years to students who show exceptional promise and commitment to a career in funeral service. These scholarships are more than just financial aid; it's an investment in future professionals who exemplify the compassion, integrity, and dedication that our members bring to communities every day. Our goal is to help alleviate some of the financial challenges of funeral service education so students can focus on building their skills and preparing for a meaningful career.
